Day 5:
12-24-2000 Have Car? Will Travel. pt 3 ("Mom! That santa over there is made of coconuts! It's scary!")We drove out to the famous 'Sacred Falls National Park' but it was closed due to trail repairs (apparently the last big rain storm had made a hash of things). We drove along the costal highway to get there which was grand fun and was all curvy and mad-cool. Back tracking from the park we found our way to a nice empty beach on Kahana Bay and collapsed for the morning. Baka couldn't did a hole because the sand was too hard, but he had lots of fun wading around while I doodled a picture. We ate at Chilli's because we had a hankering for salsa, and Baka crashed early (the attempted digging had tired him out I guess). I watched a movie and tried the pineapple wine which I would only recommend to anyone as a fine substitute for paint thinner or engine de-greaser. :P All in all a nice quiet day.
